Since 2011, we have expanded our business to include the distribution of auto electrical components. We are an A-level supplier of Cole Hersee, Exide, Narva, Bosch, Hella, and Murphy parts, to name just a few of the brands that we carry.
At our Head Office in Boksburg, we have a unit repair facility where we can do maintenance and repairs on all types of starters and alternators. Whatever questions you might have, our devoted customer service team is standing by to answer.

How HDM Was Started...
HDM Auto Electrical Parts was started by Clive Figueira in 2004. Clive started his career in the auto electrical industry when he was 13 years old where he would work for an auto electrical company in Vanderbijlpark after school. He started repairing solenoids but after three months approached the boss and asked if he could start working on cars preparing starters and alternators which he did until he was 16.
Clive moved on to start a new job working for Steve’s Auto Electrical where he serviced cars and trucks until he was 18. It was then that JN Mobile approached him, and he started working on earth-moving equipment on a full-time basis. He specialised in doing fieldwork and servicing heavy-duty machinery for companies like Murray and Roberts.
At 20 Clive opened his first business CLF Auto Electrical in the south of Johannesburg. He closed CLF Auto Electrical at the age of 24 when he and his business partner bought out JM Mobile.
5 years later, HDM Auto Electrical was started in 2004 with their primary focus on field servicing heavy-duty equipment for large construction companies. A few years later, in 2011 HDM opened up an auto electrical spares division which has grown into Gauteng's leading auto electrical parts store with branches in Boksburg and Pretoria with more to come...
